after reading amy's blogg, i was motivated to follow her example and create our family's blogg for your viewing & reading enjoyment (or torture)....
west & i were not selected for dodge ball but were preferred as the sacrament speakers for today. we are glad to have it over with and tried to convince the bishop that we were now good for ten years. he only informed us that our name went to the bottom of the list of potential speakers..... west & i are planning to keep track of speakers from now so if we are asked again before the ten year limit expires we can give the bishop a few suggestions of who would be excellent candidates for being a 'potential speaker' .......
my business commercial law class is killing me...... the professor is totally arbitrary, unreasonable & capricious (to quote another of my law professors) i LoVe tHe LaW & this guy is making me hAtE iT! ~ yeah, it IS that bad:( i start my rEaL growd-up job tuesday & it will interesting to juggle school, work, family, church, personal & my sanity.....
tess made it back from her senior girls party to caliy & discovered she rEaLLy lieks roller coasters, the beach, and the sun (all things utah is a little deficient in)
adam is close to finally getting his driver's license & starts football conditioning soon (is real life & not in x-box land..... that football conditioning is liek baseball season..... all year round)
k8e (as she spells her name) is happy to be earning money. she found a job for herself & her older brother, adam, but she seems to enjoy working & earning money more than adam
abbie went on a growth spurt and grew 3" to stay ahead (literally, a head taller) of levi..... west & i are still trying to figure how one can grow so much off of eating sugar. the preferred abbie diet consists of cocoa puffs for breakfast, chocolate covered granola bars and oreos for lunch & a root beer float for dinner........
levi is big into the peace & quite tasha bought for west for father's day (a basketball hoop & basketball) we've also found it isn't just for small children as adam has begun leaving the x-box to fend for itself for small increments of time to join levi outside at the hoop to play a game of 'tornado'. all i can say is that i am glad they play outside instead of inside:)
west is busy with his 100 children at work who are completely lacking in any technology genes or electronic skills. he enjoys sending his private henchman, mark, to answer their complaints & fix their problems. he is still busy with his business & has enjoyed visiting sprinkler world in preparation for finishing our sprinkler system in our yard
life in the jungle continues to be exciting, anything but ordinary & eventful..........
